Ingredients 1⁄4 cup fat-free plain Greek yoghurt 3⁄4 tablespoons hot paprika 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1⁄2 teaspoon ground allspice 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, plus more for brushing kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 900g trimmed lean leg of lamb, cut into 2cm cubes 450g small zucchini, halved lengthwise and cut crosswise into 2cm pieces Greek pita bread, warmed for serving Method 1. In a large bowl, whisk the yoghurt with the paprika, cumin, allspice, garlic and the 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season with 1 1/2 teaspoons of kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper. 2. Add the lamb and stir until evenly coated. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerate for up to 3 hours. 3. Light a grill or preheat a grill pan. Thread the lamb and zucchini onto 12 long metal skewers and brush with oil. 4. Season with salt and pepper and grill over moderately high heat, turning, until the lamb is browned outside and medium-rare inside, about six minutes. 7. Serve with warm Greek pita bread. Chilli chocolate brownies The spiciness of chilli gives the semi-sweet dark chocolate a depth of flavour that is guaranteed to arouse your senses and lift your mood thanks to the double release of endorphins. Ingredients 150g butter 175g caster sugar 2 eggs 4 heaped teaspoons cocoa powder 75g dark chocolate, melted 3/4 teaspoons chilli powder (or more, depending on how hot you want it) 1/2 teaspoon honey 150g plain flour Method 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. 2. Mix the butter, sugar, chilli powder and honey until smooth. 3. Then, add in the melted chocolate and beat the eggs in, adding one at a time until incorporated. 4. Fold in the flour, slowly and carefully, then put the mixture into a greased medium square brownie tin and cook in the oven for 40 minutes. 5. Leave to cool, before cutting into squares. This classic Italian inspired recipe will make you want to indulge in a plate of spaghetti immediately. Ingredients 450g pasta ¼ cup olive oil 6 cloves garlic 1 red chilli Method 1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain the FOOD Spicy garlic-chilli oil with pasta pasta and return it to the pot. 2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. 3. Add the garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until beginning to turn golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. 4. Add the chilli and cook, stirring, until the garlic is golden brown and the chilli is just tender, 1 minute more. 5. Toss through the pasta and serve.
