Behaving like bodily matter - clinging to shelves, spilling onto the gallery floor - they appear delicate and beautiful, while also familiar and visibly uncomfortable. Are these fleshy malformed objects prototypes of our future DNA? The exhibition will run until 27 August (Tues to Fri: 10.00 am-6.00 pm; Sat: 12 noon-6.00 pm). For further information, email firstname.lastname@example.org, visit www.annapappasgallery.com, or call (03) 9521 7300. NICK MOURTZAKIS’ EXHIBITION ‘TWO WORDS’ Artist Nick Mourtzakis’ forthcoming exhibition ‘Two Words’ is to open on Saturday 3 September. Recently selected as a finalist for the Art Gallery of NSW’s prestigious 2016 Archibald Prize, his celebrated piece Self portrait in violet will be showing as part of the exhibition at MARS Gallery (7 James St, Windsor, open Tues to Sat: 10.00 am-5.00 pm). Two Words will run until September 24. For more information, visit www.marsgallery.com.au or call (03) 9521 7517.
