PHOTO: KOSTAS DEVES The Greek Orthodox Community of Dandenong and Districts went all out over the weekend for its annual Greek Festival, but this year was particularly special, marking the parish-community’s 60 year anniversary. On Sunday the 21st of July 2019, the Greek Orthodox Parish-Community of St Anna on the Gold Coast celebrated its Feast Day of St Anna. Father George Frangos, of The Dormition Our Lady Greek Orthodox Church in North Altona blessed the new Fronditha Care bus at a special unveiling the major donors who contributed towards the purchase of the bus. At a cost of more than $154,000, the bus was purchased thanks to the generous donations of the community over the past year.
